Meet Kyla Stocks

Kyla Stocks is a seasoned communications professional with a background in psychology and more than a decade of experience across the public, non-profit, and tech sectors. Her career has spanned roles in health care regulation, higher education and fintech, all of which shaped her unique approach to strategic planning, leadership, and corporate communications.

Kyla is known for her ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies. Whether it’s developing audience-driven messaging, facilitating team alignment, or navigating a communications crisis, she brings both structure and empathy to her work. She’s passionate about helping others build the confidence and clarity they need to lead, especially in the messy middle of modern management.

A self-described Type A millennial Virgo, Kyla thrives on systems, spreadsheets, and strong coffee. But beyond the logistics and colour-coded planning, she’s a strong advocate for more human workplaces, the kind where balance, trust, and genuine fulfillment are prioritized over hustle culture and outdated corporate norms. With so much of life spent at work, she believes it’s not just possible, but essential, to make work meaningful and joyous.

Kyla lives in Beaumont, Alberta with her husband and two young children. Outside of work, she sings in her community choir, reads as many books as she has time for, and keeps a family calendar that could rival most project management tools.
